It took me a while longer, but i have finally finished this major update of UEBERnatural - The Supernatural fangame!

About the demo file:
The game is a standalone .exe file. So just click it to start the game. 
The game now supports fullscreen (can be set in the first screen).
You can play either with Keyboard or Joystick / Joypad.
A Mouse is needed for the ADVENTURE (find clues) part of the game.
